Dr. Christine I. Yu

Musculoskeletal system Anatomy and Pathology Instructor/Deep Tissue Instructor

Dr. Yu, Ph.D., BCTMB, is a holistic health practitioner who believes individuals are three-dimensional beings who deserve three-dimensional care. With degrees in spiritual formation, program evaluation and curricular design, massage therapy, and Developmental Psychology, she encourages students to assess and honor clients' health and wellness from all aspects. She chose to teach the musculoskeletal system, their respective pathologies, and deep tissue massage to massage students at Indiana Wellness College because she loves helping others understand the body and how we can facilitate wellness in others through massage therapy and bodywork. She also focuses on body mechanics while students are in the program to reduce the likelihood of low back pain and joint injury, so they are set up for success and longevity in this career. It is an honor to be part of this amazing team!
